With climate change at the forefront of our minds, many people are taking steps to volunteer to support the path to Net Zero.
Your local Labour Party will likely be doing lots of campaigning and community work on the environment and climate change, so this would be a good place to start with volunteering. If you’ve got an idea for something that your local Labour Party could do to tackle climate change, speak to one of your local Labour councillors or your local party officers.
Many other opportunities also exist – such as joining in with litter picks and cleaning up local areas. Volunteering with national organisations such as Greenpeace and the Carbon Literacy Trust are also great opportunities if you’re looking to get involved with national charities.
