Leeds City Council - Spatial Planning Strategy

Leeds City Council’s Planning Framework is seeking to help ‘future proof’ Leeds from the impacts of climate change. The council will use the Leeds Climate Commission’s roadmap to detail how it could become carbon neutral by 2030.

Islington Council – Carbon Offsetting

Through Islington’s ‘Local Plan’, the council are setting sustainable planning standards and design policies for new and refurbished buildings, focussing on energy efficiency using high standard fabrics and specified heating systems in order to achieve net zero carbon.
